Magus:
Fantasy - Late Saturday night after work Terrin is heading home when he starts to have flashes of a world other than our own confused and worried he makes it home safely only to have reality start warping on him as if he had taken hallucinogenic drugs. He passes out as he is ripped from our world and the only reality he has ever known. The process nearly kills him as he is flung from our world. Barley alive he is discovered by a beast like race that chooses to nurse him back to health. When his fevered delirium breaks his surroundings confuse him as he can recall that he has been unwell for some time. Confused and weak Terrin is startled by the appearance of his rescuers and even more by the brutality of the species that has chosen to taken him in and make him one of the clan (the Blood Vines). Terrin is taken care of by the clans witchdoctor until he is considered healthy enough to survive on his own within the clan. At which point he is exposed to the true brutality of the creatures that have saved his life. He is forced to fight for his meals and constantly defend himself. Once Terrin begins to understand the workings of the clan and to regain some strength he is moved to the warriors section of the camp where he is forced to learn a new way of life once more as he is beaten and partly starved as he is taught to fight and use the weapons of these primitive and brutal people. During this time the seasons change bringing about two years worth of time. During this time Terrin starts to learn the species language which is both simple and complex as it relies heavily on body language but incorporates a basic vocal language as well. The tribes camp has moved several times in the past two years and Terrin has become a competent hunter and a trusted member of the tribe. The camp has been attacked from time to time by monsters as well as other tribes. Terrin has over these few years made and lost friends amongst these strange people. On the anniversary of Terrin's arrival Kor'Tak begins preparations for Terrin's right of passage a journey that will last at least a year and one day. During this journey Terrin will be accompanied by his mentor Kor'Tak and be taught the traditions and history of his adopted people as well as have his survival skills tested. Terrin and Kor'Tak's journey ends at an ancient Training and proving grounds for the races warriors where the hunters of each tribe comes to earn the right of being called a warrior by passing the warriors trials as laid down by the fiercest warriors of the species gathered at these training grounds. Terrin's arrival causes a small stir at first but Terrin quickly proves himself earning the respect of many as well as securing himself a place as a member of one of the fiercest and most respected clans. As part of Terrin's initiation into his new clan the Wolf Riders Terrin is abandoned in the midst of a pack of wild wolf's the size of horses and is required to claim one as a mount. Prier to this Terrin is given some training and instruction by the Wolf Riders Shaman. Terrin isn't quite able to understand or grasp what the shaman was teaching him until it is almost to late. Rather than forcing the pack to his will Terrin submits and becomes a member of the pack where he slowly forges unshakeable bonds with with the whole pack. A year later Terrin returns to the Wolf Riders with a wolf (Kome) he helped raise from a pup. Once back with the Wolf Riders Terrin begins studying under the shaman. While Terrin is studying under the shaman Terrin teaches his clan how to truly merge the clan with the wolfs. As time goes by the clan and Wolf Pack become one running and living together, Terrin also becomes the unofficial leader. After several years go by the clan once more returns to the ancient training and proving grounds. For truly uniting the Wolf Riders with the Wolfs Terrin has been assigned a life long honor guard to be filled by two of the clans strongest warriors a position highly sought after and fiercely guarded. Having learned all he can from the Wolf Riders shaman Terrin decides to travel to his old clan and speak with his old mentor Kor'Tak. Traveling swiftly Terrin finds his old clan after a few months of travel. Kor'Tak greets his old student warmly and hearing of Terrin's interest in the shamans arts tells Terrin of a race of people more advanced in these arts than his own. Kor'Tak offers to guide Terrin to these people but warns that they are hard to get along with and easily offended. Terrin sends a message to the shaman in the Wolf Riders clan letting them know that he has decided to continue traveling in search of further knowledge. Kor'Tak guides Terrin to a lone hermit that lives in peace with the uncivilized races even though he is a member of the civilized races. The hermit trains Terrin in the customs and trade language of the civilized lands and then takes Terrin to a human settlement to Terrin's surprise as he had assumed that there where no humans in this world he had found himself in. Realizing his need for currency Terrin enlists as a caravan guard as the best means of continuing to learn the customs of this new world as well as continuing his search for an individual that would be willing to teach him the arts that he is seeking to understand. Terrin hopes that in understanding these strange arts he might find a way back home to the world he once knew. In his travels Terrin studies all of the martial forms that he can as he has found that he has a knack for them. Several years go by as Terrin learns more and more of this strange world he's stuck in. During these long years Terrin continues to practice and hone the arts that where taught to him by the shaman in the Wolf Riders clan advancing his skills as best he can on his own as he searches for a master that is willing to teach him the arts. Several years go by as Terrin has many adventures and builds a name for himself as a master fighter of some renown. Having amassed a small fortune Terrin finally finds a master that is willing to teach him the arts or at least as much as he can learn provided that Terrin pays him almost his entire fortune. Believing that Terrin is just a bag of muscles with an interest in the arts with no talent he expects that Terrin will give up soon. Leaving the master considerably richer without having to expand much effort. Surprised to find Terrin is a talented student the master begins to train Terrin in earnest. During Terrin's training he continues to practice and hone his skills in the martial arts and even works part time with the city guard. Several years go by like this as Terrin continues to study as much of the arts both magical as well as marital . During Terrin's life as a caravan guard he makes many friends as well as contacts in many of the cities. For a time Terrin also travels the uncivilized lands in search of forgotten lore and lost artifacts for employers. Wars break out from time to time and Terrin is eventually pulled into these conflicts. Surviving these wars as well as advancing in the ranks Terrin is eventually pulled into the politics of the court. Where he eventually becomes a friend and adviser to the king. The king is assassinated one day and Terrin is set up to look like the the murderer. Forced to flee for his life. Terrin comes full circle to the uncivilized lands where he is reunited with his old clan only to find his first mentor on his death bed. Terrin has lost many old friends to the wars but had thought his old clan a refuge from the harsh reality of the world he had found himself in

Chapter # One: A bad day
Terrin wakes up to his alarm gets out of bed gets dressed takes a cold shower as the water heater has broken the previous week. Goes without breakfast as one of his roommates drank the last of his milk and is almost late for work. After work Terrin has to hurry to his first class spends the rest of his day just miserably. Gets dumped by his girlfriend etc... a bad day. On his way home everything starts to go out of whack as if he had been drugged. Barely making it home safely Terrin collapses on the couch as the world is ripped asunder and Terrin passes under the strain of the forces exerted on him.

Chapter # Two: Survival
The shaman of the Blood Vines senses a disturbance in the fabric of the world and sends Kor'Tak with several warriors to investigate. Kor'Tak arrives to see Terrin flung into this world and collapse in a fevered delirium barley alive. Kor'Tak decides to try and save this strange individual and takes Terrin back to the clan were he is entrusted to to shaman until he ether recovers or passes on.

Chapter # Three: Awakening
Terrin awakes from his fevered delirium only to find himself in a strange world filled with strange creatures. Confused and exhausted Terrin is nursed back to health by the shaman. After the shaman determines that Terrin is no longer at risk of dieing he is released into the camp were Terrin must fight for his survival amongst the youth of the tribe. Believing himself to be a captive he tries running away only they don't stop him. Kor'Tak follows from a distance and guides Terrin back to the camp when Terrin realizes that he will die without the protection of the clan.
